The pattern that interests me here is how quickly we accept narratives that confirm our priors, then weaponize them. When every incident becomes ammunition in a culture war, the truth becomes collateral damage. What would a federal investigation actually accomplish when trust in institutions is already the casualty?

Can we say Jussi Smallet?

I have no doubt this was a hoax. However, with half the country being populated with droolers and window lickers, there will need to be proof.

If that proof is sufficient, then they need to revoke her citizenship. Declare her an islamic insurgent and then hang her from the Washington monument, as an enemy of the state.

Leave her there for a month.

acid colored? Is that a thing?

Apple cider vinegar (tested to be the contents) is often brown. Other acids, espcially in vapor form are brilliant yellow-green, hence the "safety" color "acid green."

I suspect she knew it was vinegar, either from spray on her face/lips and smell. That she never flinched and even considered removing her sweater/top indicates a confidence that is well explored here.

When I saw the video two things struck me as really odd. First, instead of backing up in shock or self-preservation, or to avoid a second spraying, Omar advanced towards the man with her fist raised. I thought that looked a little unrealistic and maybe like a stunt. Or like she was too aware of the cameras. The other thing was, she went right back to the podium to speak and didn’t even try to wipe herself off, cover her mouth, or show any real fear after an attack where an unknown substance was sprayed on her. I would have left the room to find a restroom where I could immediately remove my outer clothing (at the very least). And then wash myself off. It could have been any type of poison, so the longer her exposure, the worse the outcome would be. Her demeanor did not match what had just happened. I really believe there’s a good possibility it was staged.

Truth......what a concept. There was a time when truth meant something almost solid in its reality. Now everyone has their own version and "truth" has to have quotation marks.

Omar is a known fraudster and crook. It would be no surprise at all if this turned out to be a hoax.

Ask husband #1.

CBS News is now reporting her attacker is actually on Omar's payroll making 50k a year in her (non existent) winery

I wish that were true, but it appears to be fake.

Stunt. Who ‘attacks' someone with water in a syringe? I say water but notice that it has been two days and so far neither local police (lap dog) nor her handlers have said anything about what was the liquid. Bogus.

First thing I would do in her place was check my face and shirt to see what hit me. She is not concerned. Knows it was nothing dangerous.

Ok so it’s ok if staged planned attacks on ICE agents are ok but a planned staged a attack against a politician is not. Humm. 🤨

Ok so it’s ok if staged planned attacks on ICE agents are accomplished, but a planned staged attack against a politician is not. Humm. 🤨 Backwards logic.

This has all the smell of Jussie Smollett 2.0—same script, same timing, same media credulity. A syringe, a mystery liquid, instant victim canonization, and wall-to-wall coverage before basic questions are asked. All that was missing was the MAGA hat and a shouted slogan for the chyron writers. When narratives form faster than facts, skepticism isn’t cruelty—it’s duty. Real political violence deserves justice; staged or facilitated theater deserves exposure and prosecution. We’ve seen this movie before: emotional spectacle first, truth buried later. Until a federal investigation answers who knew what and when, this isn’t a hate crime—it’s a credibility test.

At first this seemed like a crime of hate.

But now with interesting tidbits being revealed I'm leaning towards a Hate Hoax by the sister who married her brother, ilhan nur

What about Omar's political career hasn't been a hoax?

Her reaction indicates that she anticipated the attack. This stunt garners no sympathy from the public for her fraudulent activities. Omar fails to grasp that she is no longer welcome in America. Americans are indifferent to her motives; we know from her own statements that she detests America and the freedoms and liberties it provides to all its citizens. Trump and his administration will ensure her removal from Congress and deportation. I voted for this.
