When the “narrative du jour” is all that is ever allowed to be published or pronounced, and all dissenters or deviators from that narrative publicly excoriated, the truth has, to say the very least, an uphill battle breaking through.
Until the mass media is wholly recaptured and freed from the grips of the Left, the battle will ever be before us.
The question is how to capture the mass media. The villagers can not know the werewolves, therefore they are in an impossible situation while bombarded with mis and mal-information. Even the well educated are naively believe all they are told, they check various, but only mass media sources, i.e. ABC,CBS,NBC, NYT, WaPo, etc. Can you offer a solution?
Building Alternatives to the MSM is the first step.
The purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk was an unquantifiable game changer in that direction, creating a universal outlet for competing ideas and news reporting.
The rise of social media sites, such as Substack and others, is another.
Many people are getting behind creating news sites along the lines of Bari Weiss’ Free Press, which publishes a more balanced spectrum of competing ideas and reporting.
As for the existing organs of the Left, they are dying by a thousand cuts for refusing to see the handwriting on the wall, but getting to their final death rattle will be a long slog.
For now, people seeking out alternative sources is gaining steam. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. But it is well worth noting that the vast majority of people under 50 do not watch or read ANY MSM, and are more comfortable with podcasts and alternative news sites. It’s a start.
This reminds me of the commies' playbook "Psychopolitics," the art and science of asserting and maintaining dominion over the thoughts and loyalties of individuals, officers, bureaus, and the population, and the effecting of the conquest of enemy nations through "mental healing."
Sioli’s comments in her CSIS interview, “So those who don’t sign the Code of Practice still have to comply, obviously, with the rules and the obligations of the AI Act, and they will have to demonstrate their compliance in other ways. And we will be asking them how they are complying with the AI Act. So the expectation is that they have in mind different ways for compliance.” Of course, her background is in economics. 🙄

It seems to me, that the united states is much more far-gone than the EU when it comes to a asymmetric information and propaganda... We have a very small group of billionaires who literally own all traditional and social media companies making all of the decisions for the entire planet. The ideas of freedom of speech and press are completely under attack. Kinda seems like the calls are coming from inside the house... They are making blatantly open (and hilariously fumbled) partisan decisions on what information is and is not for public consumption. Arresting journalists, banning influencers, suing networks...
Yet here I am reading about how Europe is falling victim to this for some of it's comparatively minor censorship actions...
When can I expect the next post applying this paradigm to the current united states administration?
