Thune is there for thune. He could care less about the country. If you can't approve of secure voting, you're a traitor to the nation

Ken Paxton just did something Washington hates: he called the bluff. For years, the Senate establishment — led by career insiders like John Cornyn — has talked tough about election integrity while hiding behind procedural excuses. Paxton flipped the table. Pass the SAVE America Act like President Donald Trump has demanded, and prove the Senate actually works for voters — or expose the whole charade. That’s leadership. Paxton is fighting while the old guard dithers. Texas Republicans remember that Cornyn once told Trump to quit the race — and Trump won anyway. The grassroots want fighters, not caretakers of the swamp. Paxton understands the moment.

Methinks that laziness is but part of the explanation of what's going on.

Especially about The Save America Act, what is being exposed is that the election fraud infrastructure across the country is a UniParty supported endeavor. Why do I say that?

Think about it: after the O-Biden importation of millions of illegals + Motor Voter + plus other forms of fraud, the Republican Party faces near-extinction within a few election cycles.

So, it it were actually an opposition party, it would be all over passing The Save America Act on its own, and then begging President Trump to sign it "stat!"

But if several (most?) "Republican" members of Congress are there because of UniParty selection, and installed with fraud, enacting The Save America Act is individual political suicide.

Conversely, if the UniParty fraud infrastructure remains in place, there will still be select "Republicans" allowed to "win," so as to maintain the appearance that we're actually operating in a contesting two-party system resulting from "free and fair elections."

Cui bono?

What I refer to as "The Globalist-CCP Axis."

Paxton may well be a flawed human, as are we all, but he is a smart man with a superior legal mind. I have confidence that he would make a superb Senator.

What a genius strategy! Excellent post, thanks!

Who knows we might even get a repeal of the 17th. Lol. Jk. One can hope however. Too much damn democracy ‘round these parts anyhow. And if I never hear about Beto again I’d be a happy man. I’m not even a States rights zealot either but if it made politics a little less party/DC centric that would be nice.

Gotta love Paxton. He’s the kind of shitkicker we need in this pile of crap that is Congress. Thune and Cornyn both need to go. If Trump endorses Cornyn, it will shake his base when it least needs shaking, it will cost him, and more importantly will cost us!

a stunningly lucid and beatiful argument worthy of wide dissemination to the people in position to steer the oxcart

I want the SAVE act to pass and for Cornyn to be the one to drop out.

Paxton’s move is very clever and classy-I’ll step aside for the good of the country. This bear trap analogy is great. I think Trump may just endorse Paxton regardless!

If voters started expecting their senators to actually get the job done, what next? It could soon get to the point where they'll expect their local party leadership and election apparatus to be able to tell them where to vote in advance. Which miight lead to election integrity, even. Something the Dallas primary clearly lacked last week.

Excellent summary for Paxton’s request. The bear trap analogy well explained and well thought out. Thune and Cornyn can now lead or they can continue to grandstand and gaslight We the People. Do your darn job, or be exposed as the lazy politicians you are.
