Google won't allow President Trump's TruthSocial in its Play app store preventing 44% of the American people who have Android phones from downloading the social network.
When they banned President Trump and ten million conservatives from Twitter leftists like @SteveMiller28277 told us to start our own social media company.
President Trump did just that and built TruthSocial. Almost immediately, Biden’s U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) opened an investigation into Trump’s company.1 Next Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) opened an investigation and impaneled a federal grand jury and began issuing subpoenas to TruthSocial.2 Then Biden’s U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) refused to issue Trump’s company a trademark for its TruthSocial brand.3 These actions by the Biden administration have prevented the company from raising capital, hiring employees, and improving the platform. If things weren’t difficult enough Democrat activists like David Brock and The 65 Project have made it almost impossible for the president and his companies to engage bankers, accountants, and lawyers.4 Similar efforts by activists made it almost impossible for the company to engage the best internet infrastructure providers like Amazon forcing TruthSocial to rely on second and third-tier vendors. Despite these roadblocks, TruthSocial launched its social network on the web and built mobile apps for iPhone and Android phones.
While Apple approved TruthSocial on their app store Google dragged its feet for months as TruthSocial’s CEO Devin Nunes explained:
Google told Nunes on August 19th that it was not satisfied that TruthSocial had an effective system for moderating user-generated content similar to Reddit or Twitter. Today it is being reported that Google has decided that it will NOT allow TruthSocial in the Google Play app store - preventing 44% of Americans from getting the app on their phones.5
I have been on TruthSocial for a few weeks and I haven’t seen ANYTHING close to the issues I see on Twitter and Reddit on any given day. From my perspective, the app has easy-to-use tools to report abuse just like Reddit and Twitter. What makes me think this is a political decision and not a technical one is the fact that Google has no issues with the Reddit app. I’ve been on Reddit for almost a year and I’m almost certain that no one is minding the store over there. After I heard Google wasn’t going to allow TruthSocial in the Play store I checked to make sure Reddit was there and when it was I just did a quick search of CURRENT posts on the platform. There are entire subreddits dedicated to helping people cook meth, grow psychedelic mushrooms, modify AR-15s, share naked photos of their relatives, celebrate violence, promote racism, and so on… Here are some screenshots:

You don’t have to take my word for it. Just visit Reddit yourself. It is a cesspool. Why is Google allowing Reddit and its doxing of law enforcement, bigotry, porn, and domestic extremism? They told conservatives to build their own social networks…
