How much longer can the Starmer government last?

Suzie's avatar

If you think tossing Chagos aside was a massively stupid idea, Starmer once again says, โ€œHold my beer!โ€โ€ฆ.

What could possibly go wrong?

The moral preening by the current UK prime minister is an embarrassment of great magnitude.

I'm surprised he hasn't bent over for Canada. Yet.

Here in Britain we're aghast at this manifestly stupid deal. At its heart are three Kings Counsel who have made careers as human rights lawyers, working from the same chambers, who specialise in litigating against the UK Government - Starmer, Hermer and Sands.

Incredibly, Starmer is now our Prime Minister and he wasted no time in appointing Hermer as his Attorney General. Hermer is despised and feared across Whitehall for sticking his nose into every Ministry's business and insisting international law takes precedence over rational policymaking.

Philippe Sands is less well-known but has for over a decade been the legal advisor to the Mauritian Government and is behind the approach to the ICJ. He has also been heavily involved in the negotiations on the treaty, in which his UK interlocutor has been our National Security Advisor, Jonathan Powell. Powell appears to be the driver behind Starmer's genuflection towards China, of which the Diego Garcia deal is just one element.

Loyal Britons are hoping that Trump will save us from the idiocy - or worse - of our own Government.

If Britain can give away Diego Garcia, Denmark can give away Greenland. Britain is making Trumpโ€™s Greenland argument for him.

The UK is committing slow suicide. Like a maudlin old man who grieves for his younger days.

Thank God Trump stepped in and stopped this madness. And thankyou Congressman Kennedy for shining the light.

Side note - Kennedy has a new book out highly recommended it is hysterical funny man tells it how it is. ๐Ÿ˜Š

You think the British government does ANYTHING because they feel empathy? Look what theyโ€™re doing to the citizens of the UK. There is a much larger globalist plan in play here. I donโ€™t pretend to know what the final end game is but Iโ€™ll guarantee empathy plays no part in it.

101M pounds Sterling a year. And Keir would have received how much a year kicked back?

At this point, all the evidence says that this is not stupidity, it is not 'empathy', It is deliberate, with malice aforethought...

Didnโ€™t the Brits learn anything about leases and Hong Kong? One country two systems. Ya right. ๐Ÿ™„
