It continues today, even though Trump has done a much better job brining his own loyal people in. Outside Trump's loyal group, it is obvious the rest of the government is working AGAINST the duly elected representatives.
State leaders are another story, and they were elected by their states, so their resistance, though hard to understand, is legal as separate entities.
At this point, allowing the federal government to be responsible for policing and prosecuting crimes and injustices it committed against the people is no longer acceptable. No matter who is doing it, their own self-interests interfere with proper justice fitting the crimes and injuries. Trump's lawyers are still not going to give him advice to tell a judge to fuck off, because it will weaken the legal system THEY ARE PART OF.
Judges making partisan decisions in violation of the law to thwart the actions of elected reps of the people cannot be allowed to stand, especially when these partisan hacks are appointed for life.
So then, what is the answer?
Can the states, who technically OWN the federal government, form a justice system specifically to police the federal government and hold it both accountable and FORCE it to follow the constitution? The federal government is a union of the states. States are NOT divisions of the fed.
IT MUST be, therefor, legal for the states to form an agency to oversee the feds.
Who cares what SCOTUS or anyone else in DC says, they work FOR US. WE TELL THEM, and it is high time we get back to doing it.
Ron Desantis will be done as governor of our great state of Florida in January. What better person to take up the task of forming and taking first command of the United States Justice System?
