Trans Activists Want You to Opt Out of Mother's Day
Do they just want to erase motherhood or women in general?
Take a moment and open the promotions tab in Gmail and count how many messages you have from brands giving you the opportunity to opt out of emails about Mother’s Day. Suddenly hundreds of brands from Levi’s to buybuy Baby are giving customers the option of not receiving coupons and promotions related to Mother’s Day. Why?
The left is pretending the ‘Opt Out of Mother’s Day’ movement is meant to protect people from the pain of thinking of their dead mothers. If this was the case the ‘Mother’s Day Opt Out Message’ itself would be just as ‘triggering’ as the ‘Mother’s Day Message’.1 The reality is that the messages are being promoted by trans activist groups as a way for corporations to improve their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores. Removing the concept of Mother’s Day is a strong signal of allyship with the trans community. The entire idea of motherhood is an anathema to those who seek to replace the term with ‘birthing people’.
Perhaps it is time for brands to begin allowing customers to opt-out of their woke marketing as well - just a simple toggle in user settings that lets a brand know you’re not interested in BLM, DEI, ESG, gender ideology, and drag shows for kids.
