How many $’s lost to the treasury thru this mechanism? That answer would be a good talking point, especially if parsed by entity size, transparency, etc.
USAID has shown what a corruption of NGOs has become. Thank goodness USAID was shut down. Now go after these NGOs funding activists and domestic terrorists, ie Soros Open Society!

I just love that Marco Rubio came out last week and said we're no longer going to go through NGOs to help our partner countries... we're going to give the money directly to their government and track from beginning to end how it's used where it's used and who used it... could that be the Palantir technology that will be doing that?
Congress can pass legislation as you outlined, but that’s like asking the fox to guard the henhouse.
As an end-around Congress, Is not the Treasury legally empowered to go after these entities and, in concert with the IRS, able to investigate and deny their tax deferments? A moratorium on all new and existing 501c organizations should be instituted, pending rigorous investigations into every single one of them.
These entities have become a “nation unto themselves”, literally waging war against our own country from within.
That cannot be allowed to stand, and
should be considered a National Security issue.
It is beyond imperative to shut them down, or, at the very least, create stricter guardrails and limitations to inhibit these monsters from ever attaining such vast unaccountable power.

Litigation, lobbying, and narrative shaping are financed with dollars that would otherwise have flowed to the Treasury.
I believe this is one of the worst criminals in the world. His activity is damaged multiple economies and resulted in millions of deaths.
