On at least two occasions, after heading S on I-95, I got one of those chills that perhaps I had not checked accurately on securing those documents, and immediately spun a U-Turn to return and 'Discount Double-Check' that all was in fact secured. My office was involved in the Marine Corps' part of that FAILED Iranian hostage rescue in the desert (Operation Eagle Claw on April 24, 1980), where that conflagration between an aircraft and a helicopter resulted in one Iranian civilian and eight American deaths. I can only imagine that my kin would still be digging to see how deeply I had been buried beneath Ft. Leavenworth, if any portion of that mission's info had been found at that site and tracked back to my office!
