Whoever ordered this should receive the severest penalty possible. The death penalty should be used in this case. This is the most egregious use of power I have ever seen. I'm 75 years old and I don't want my children or my grandchildren ever, ever to witness this again. Biden's administration, the Democrat Party is corrupt and rotten to the core. If there are Republicans, anybody involved, deserve the severest penalties. I have no pity for them.

Anyone who participated in this highly illegal event should be hanged in a public square for all to witness. Not one person involved can say that they didn’t know. THEY ALL KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. It’s incredibly shameful.

Congress cannot charge or prosecute crime. The Trump DOJ can. What's wrong with this story?

There are no circumstances anyone can justify the use of deadly force in a search of a president's residence. All involved need to go to jail. There is nothing that can defend nor justify these measures nor can the reckless disregard of the law. These people are authoritarians who consistently demonstrated a deisregard of the law and use of star chambers in the 4 years leading up to Trump's election. If they are not punished approp[riately and their rogue judiciary with them, our republic will trn into the UK. Begore this occurs I realize see a civil war where those who advocate for an end to the constitution, freedom and the free enterprise system can finally be purged.

I am not familiar with federal search warrants. I am extremely familiar with search warrants and warrant service by local, county, and state agencies. The idea that deadly force is “not authorized” by law enforcement officers (LEOs) and therefore must be authorized in the warrant is ludicrous. Deadly force is permitted when anybody, LEO or civilian, has an objective and reasonable belief he/she is in imminent danger of serious physical injury or death, based on the totality of the facts known to the LEO at the time of the decision.

Every word in this post by @amuse is spot-on. When I first heard of the warrant service details, my first thought was it was clear the FBI/DOJ hoped there would be a violent confrontation. There is no more clear indicator of a rogue government than this.

You are right and you don't know either. Using deadly force on two men standing on an overturned boat in the middle of a sea with no weapons and not a threat doesn't require deadly force.. How about rescue the instead something they've already have done.

The word I got, a long time back, was that Trump had the goods on them with regard, Crossfire Hurricane operation, so they raided to get the proof. This is Third World shit, and it makes me damn fucking mad. First the election was stolen, then the fraudulent election was certified, then the bastards acted like dictators and thugs.

That's not how it happened and you know it. Trump stole those secret documents and refused to return the documents. Trump finally agreed to return the documents he lied. When it was found out Trump never returned all the secret documents it they tried to negotiate the return of the remaining documents and Trump still wouldn't return the documents so the FBI got a warrant to search Mar O Lago to retrieve the rest of the documents Trump refused to return. There wasn't a SWAT team like your trying to make it out to be. Trump wasn't at Mar O Lago like he claimed either.

The comment suggesting Trump was withholding documents is not supported by the facts. It is an unsupported claim by media. Trump had been cooperating and a court hearing was needed to resolve any disputes. Really hard to sort out the truth given the various claims.

You haven't any idea what you're talking about. The whole situation been on the news from day one when was the FBI was told Trump had the documents. Trump even in an interview Fox claimed he declassified the documents in his mind. 😂 You can find it if you search Trump and documents.

Even if all that you say is true, Ben, why was "deadly force" authorized? And, I just have to say...how do you KNOW what really happened? I sure don't, and have to sift through what evidence I'm allowed to see.

They were hoping to kill him. Period. And if they didn’t kill him then someone else at Mar-A-Lago. And then blame it on Trump. If this isn’t clear by now then nothing is. But, what does it matter. No one will pay for this. Absolutely no one. Ever. Because the only Republican with balls can’t do everything by himself. I’m sick of sanctimonious statement by Jim Jordan or Comer. Sick of the congressional do nothing preening for cameras. Prosecute these abusers of government power or just let it go. I love your posts, AMUSE, but we are getting nowhere except aggravated. Trump is out there by himself with a bunch of scared rabbits hiding behind him. And don’t get me started on Kash, Bongino and Pam Bondi.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was another Overt Act in the Conspiracy to deny Donald Trump his civil rights. I would note that Mar-a-Lago is geographically located within the Southern District of Florida US Attorney's Office. This will be a key plank in the indictment. It will also lead to the inevitable conclusion that all subsequent reviews of the propriety of the investigations of Trump by the DOJ IG, Durham et al were fatally flawed and compromised. The question is, will Andrew Weissman and others become targets of the grand jury.

Jail them all! And for fuck’s sake don’t let the statutes of limitation run out.

I’m in agreement with Ms. Sholl, that this was an unsuccessful setup for a killing.
