This will become an issue when AI in the UK sucks up all the grid while still denying citizens of cooling. This is a freedom issue the freedom to be able to not suffer and cool oneself.

But how well did Texas's "climate policy" deal with those winter storms several years ago? How would you score Texas's handling of the conditions that got you catastrophic flooding last year - with dozens of deaths?
Iirc, Texas learned the hard way that over reliance on "green" energy can be quickly catastrophic, and has resumed a more traditional blend of energy generation mix.

It was due to poor planning and implementation. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas and state regulators historically planned for summer peak demand. Many facilities lacked sufficient winterization and Texas’s largely isolated grid limited the ability to import emergency power from neighboring regions.
The market structure emphasized low-cost electricity but provided limited incentives for maintaining extra reserve capacity and weather hardening.
The storm exposed weaknesses in the state’s preparation for prolonged cold:
Natural gas equipment (wells, pipelines, processing plants) froze, reducing fuel supplies to power plants.
Power plants, gas, coal, and one of four nuclear plants experienced outages due to frozen equipment and mechanical failures.
Wind turbines also lost some generation because some turbines iced up, and some solar generation was reduced during cloudy conditions, but renewables accounted for less than 10% of the overall shortfall. Wind actually performed close to expected winter levels.

Britain is letting her young girls be raped en masse and arresting natives for mean tweets. If the ruling class wanted to genocide their own people, what would they be doing differently?
Current and past 20 years of leadership in Britain has suffocated their citizens with illegals, roaming rape gangs, climate mandates, censorship of free speech, and beyond stupid useless laws, while giving free rein to illegals and immigrants to refuse assimilation and whine about everything. Assuming there is any way to accurately determine 'global' temperature, there is NO evidence that mankind's emissions of CO2 and other 'greenhouse' gases make ANY measurable contribution to global warming, and much evidence that it does NOT.
