Affirmative obstruction. Good nickname for Thune.

Further proof that democrats use the Constitution to wipe their butts.

>>Carville has proposed the opposite. He is instructing Democrat candidates to run on grievance, on tariffs, on the cost of eggs, on the 2026 slogan he has suggested, β€œWe demand a repeal,” and then to execute, in office, a structural program the candidates deliberately concealed from the voters.

In other words, the entire Demo-Communist Party adopts the Spanberger model.

why oh why do we keep voting these bad apples into office. I wish someone who go to their districts and ask "why do you favor xxx to represent you in Congress? and why do elected republicans refuse to be responsible and do what is necessary. As always, your essays are brilliant and informative.

I wonder if Johnson and Carville are buddies due to the LSU connection?

It's not too much of a request to ask Republucan House and Senate members to do Republican things! Blocking Trump's nominees ISN'T Republican. Not fighting to pass the SAVE Act, and any other Legislation that Trump wants, ISN'T Republican! I'm at the tippety end of my rope with them. They'd better get on the ball because the clock is ticking and we won't have another Trump in our lifetime!

Republicans voters and Independents, who left the Democrats because they oppose this type of agenda, need to show up and vote in the midterms. Not voting is the same as voting to put this agenda into action. And people will find out quickly how badly this will impact their daily lives and their ability to afford anything!

On the other hand: Just look at the ages of the proponents and primes . I wouldn’t bet a dime on their being present in 2029.

Strom Thurmond, was a Dixiecrat who supported racial segregation. He retired from the Senate when he was 100 and died three months later.

That’s not the only firewall. There’s more to America than DC.

Thune is in the Democrat's pocket. Is he in any of the Swalwell tapes?

democrat success with this sounds like a recipe for civil war.

c Anderson's avatar

That’s exactly why Democrats keep pushing to destroy our 2nd Amendment rights.

Come November, We, the People, actually do wield the Very real power to prevent the Democrat takeover of the government.

Yes, it requires each and every one of us, and in numbers greater than the 2024 election, to literally hold our noses as we VOTE STRAIGHT RED, and usher in a Republican supermajority that even Thune will be powerless against.

I realize it sounds like rewarding them for their intransigence. But it is not.

In reality, it is calling their bluff, forcing them back into the arena at an even greater majority, where the machinery of the old order no longer can be manipulated.

We either choose to be demoralized, and surrender or quit, and allow this country to be utterly demolished by the criminal enterprise known as the Democrat party, or we stand our ground, stay the course, and in numbers that historically blow the doors off the midterms, maintain our hold, and demand that America comes first, and will by all means be made great again! It’s up to we, the people - always has been.

Or we use our 2nd Amendment for EXACTLY what it is meant for; against a tyrannical government!!!

Suzie's avatar

Pretty much - yeah.

Thune is a spineless RINO and needs to do his job or be replaced. We are sick of his inaction.

He’s not spineless he’s a real conservative lol. 😝

So this is literally the roll out of the plan to establish the Soviet Union of America. They’re moving on each single point while Americans look somewhere else. Point 5 managed to gather the support of no less than 20 Republicans in the US House of Representatives…

The plan is already being implemented in blue states.

Carville is a nut and keeps opening his mouth to prove it. Thune and Johnson are RINOs, whose actions reinforce that claim. Brian Schatz is the man who illegally got Barack Obama's name on the Hawaii ballot in 2008.

No, he’s just honest.

Tami Johnson's avatar

He is mentally deranged

the long warred's avatar

These aren’t exclusive.

He’s also practical; he understands the Left has and is increasing an absolutely Iron discipline on the Democratic Party.

He is telling them how to win. That they are Communists and degenerate predators doesn’t dissuade him, he understands that politics is power. The core value of the Democratic Party is Power, nothing else has ever mattered. This is why they win. They focus on power and the rest including governing is of a lesser priority, if at all.

Susan Daniels's avatar

They like the easy money, too.
