I'm an Accountant. There's a saying that Reich clearly proves. "Figures lie and Iiars figure." Enough said. 😉

The late and deeply missed Scott Adams always cautioned about this type of numbers legerdemain. He said to disregard any claim based exclusively on percentages without the underlying numbers and conversely, do the same with claims that provide only a number without provide per centum or per capita. I think he was a very perspicacious man. And Reich is an inveterate liar and charlatan.

Bravo! Now do Paul Krugman 🔥

Reich has always been a socialist ideologue whose intellectual morals are smaller than his stature. He hasn’t changed any.

I will admit to a poorly framed reply in a hurry. It ended up being shorthand for intellectually framed morals, if any. It still remains that is morals are far smaller than his stature.

Thank you, Alex, for pulling the thread, and shining the light of truth. We need more real journalists like you.

Why I never read anything by Reich.

Reich has never been honest, he's nothing but a partisan hack masquerading as a member of the credentialed elite.

Excellent analysis.

The problem with mental midgets like Reich is the truth does not serve their preconceived bias and thus they are forced to lie.

As you point out, his credibility is pre-supposed based on his academic credentials rather than his demonstrated expertise and reputation for truth telling.

You can put whatever perfume on it you want, but Reich is a common liar. Nothing more.

Robert Reich is not an economist. He keeps being cited as such but does not know what he is talking about.

You are too kind to this charlatan.

Beautiful opening line. Sad, but brilliant.

Does anyone ever REALLY listen to him? Even Lefty’s know he’s full of it, but then that’s how they roll.

My favorite is when “progressives” say the wealthy need to pay their “fair share.”

I just ask them to put a number on it. They can’t. Because it just means “more.”

How appropriate that a lying sack of intestinal feces names his book "Coming Up Short". Is it the story of his life, or just explaining why he needs elevator shoes to see over the heads of first graders. He was garbage when he was in government, he was/is garbage as a professor, and he's a piece of crap as a person. Other than that, his head's flat enough to park a beer can on.
