As the successor to the Murder Turtle, John Thune is perfect. A younger, less intelligent version of the Turtle, but from the same cloth. His leadership is directed at support of the status quo, not the people. It's time he was voted out of leadership, then out of the Senate.

A solution is to call their bluff and vote them back in WITH AN EVEN GREATER MAJORITY (including some better quality candidates like Paxton), which will make these duplicitous games all that much harder to play.
And that way at least we’ll still be in the fight, because if the Dems win, all bets are off.
Trump managed to get rid of some baddies via primaries but we have to accept back the Collin’s etc. but keep the pressure on. I know it doesn’t sound like much but it sure as hell beats the alternative.

The issue is brutally simple: if Republicans cannot pass proof of citizenship for voting when they have the votes, what exactly are they conserving? The permanent political class always finds a procedural excuse when voters demand something real. Thune’s excuses protect the comfort of senators who want credit for supporting election integrity without the burden of actually forcing the fight. That is why the zombie filibuster survives. That is why the parliamentarian suddenly becomes sacred. That is why obvious majority policy dies in a cloakroom. Trump is right to demand action. Fifty votes, one vice president, zero excuses. Anytime you see Thune on TV, you can tell he does not have a sincere bone in his body. He should be drug out by the collar. Primary this asshole as soon as possible.
There is nothing more important legislatively than the Senate passing the SAVE Act. Thune is putting the future of the country at risk and making the senate look like it is filled with fat cat politicians who don’t care if cheating occurs in our elections. It is ridiculous that with the election in California the evidence is clear that the system is broken when we have to wait for the results to be announced on July 10th! Thune needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
Given that nearly all of the 27 “principals” has voted “yes” and only 2 lame ducks and the usual Collins and Murkowski Democrat-aligned votes voted “no”, an honest group would replace Thune. But the Senate isn’t an honest group on either side of the aisle. 4 Senators with nothing to lose are protecting the 27 who don’t actually want Thune to get the Save Act to the floor or passed, but have to save their political backsides by voting “yes”. The question in my mind is “why on earth would ANY Republican senator be against the Save Act, much less half or more of them? Maybe I’m lacking in creativity, but I can’t think of any reason other than that they are in on election theft.

Please never ever give to the RNC again. Only individual candidates. When the RNC gives the money the recipeint has to dance to their tune.
