A lovingly intertwined dual-career success story!

Congrats to both.

If you're making less than about a quarter million per year, Yale covers tuition - and scales reductions beyond that.

Congrats! Don’t think you’re done yet though. The 4 years our Daughters were in college gave me “a break”. I didn’t worry as much because I didn’t know what was going on constantly. Fast forward, now there are Grandkids that they need help with. Picking up from school occasionally, taking to a practice, watching games, keeping overnight occasionally, on and on. It’s an extension, you want them to know you and be a good influence etc. it’s fun, tiring at times but as they say, keep us young. So enjoy these 4 years and get ready for the next phase. I love and look forward to your writings.

Hardly, Einstein. Also, it's May - so that Christian high schooler is wearing short-shorts on "safe" home territory.

Daughters. I just bought mine a house -- though I live in the 2nd floor apartment. Ya did good.

Congratulations to your daughter and to you for doing all the right things. Readers seldom know about the personal life of the writer. I have always admired the variety of things that you write about and how you manage to find something new and interesting every day. It's no surprise to me that you have raised such an ambitious child.

Congratulations! I'm sure she'll do great at Yale.

When I search “Alexander Muse” on X, you do not come up in the results.

Wonderful! Your daughter will go far and I hope her mother is okay. "Every dollar siphoned off by manipulation is a dollar taken from the creators 𝕏 actually wants to reward." Likewise, every illegal vote steals the legitimate vote of an American citizen. Likewise, every fraudulent dollar obtained through Medicaid or Medicare or any other government entity or NGO is theft from American taxpayers and from legitimate recipients of these programs.

Could you be more of a disingenuous, sniveling crybaby? Yale covers full tuition for familiescearnibgbubder $200K yearly - and we know you have millions in assets.

Poor, shit-flinging, provocateur.

God. Family. Country. More than a Marine slogan it's a way of life.

You are a fortunate man Mr. Muse, many children implode when a family is broken. That your daughter survived intact is a testament to your part time fatherhood, and to your former wife. I hope her health has improved. I hope your health stays strong also.

I can only imagine the emotional roller coaster you have experienced. Love, children, career, divorce, and now empty nest. Having a similar story, I assure you that your role as father, coach, and cheerleader is not over. Distance will increase but the emotional bond is probably closer than it has ever been. You may be more important to your daughter now than ever before. Let her know that unlike before, you are available 24-7, 365.

I know the emphasis of your article was about the injustice you suffered at the hands of one person at a social media outlet. I'm senior to you by more than a few years, I grew up blue collar and still am. I struggle with todays technology, usually detesting it. But the convenience and benefit is impossible to deny. Still, the closest I am to social media is SubStack and two-three telegram channels. That's more than I want, I am happy I found you on S'Stack, along with Coffee&Covid.

Speaking of which, C-19 changed the world, as it was intended. As a nation, we woke up just in the nick of time to save our stumbling Republic, much to the chagrin of those desiring to fundamentally change America forever. You and many others suffered the brunt of censorship, having your 1-A right stripped away. Many did not survive the blow to freedom, many even today are losing the battle of genocide in a needle.

Work on your relationship with Jesus. Pray daily for your daughter, and may you one day be blessed with grandchildren. Grand parenting, the opportunity of a second chance to right the wrongs of of your first attempt at fatherhood and family. Trust me, it's all good!

Congratulations and good luck with all.

Bugging me: the beautiful young woman holds Yale paraphenalia, yet you repeatedly reference Harvard in your piece. Forgive a simple-minded hick on the prairie, but, what? Same same? Merely details? Stock photo? From here all of that east coast stuff just fades way into a kind of self congratulatory haze that all of ya'll so love to scatter about.

Like I said, good luck with all.

But, solipsism keeps like fish and house guests ...

I left Twitter in 2021 and never went back. I don’t get it really. I think only about 25 percent of Americans are on it.

Very interesting about compensation for content. That makes sense now too.

Excellent article. I very much enjoyed reading it. Thank you.

My favorite photo of my father was the one I took of him with my graduation mortar board on his head. He worked as hard as I did to help me earn my degree. 🎓

Your daughter is very blessed to have you as her dad. Congratulations and great job! We have kids in the same age bracket and it’s exciting yet difficult to see them fly the coup and make their own way. I miss mine a lot but they are great people and I know they’ll do great things!
