I am thinking that this same thing happened for Trump in 2024, when TPUSA (with some splendid insight and motivation from Barron Trump) got out the grassroots younger generations to canvass and do voter-reg BigTime. I expect that relatively little funding was involved, but the local organization and requisite pro-MAGA idealogical enthusiasm was Really Significant. Do you agree?
New York City’s public campaign-finance system, that qualifying contribution is matched by the taxpayers at a rate of 8 to 1 is the source of this money train funding DSA. With Mandan as mayor, these obscene rules won’t be changed. NY is a sanctuary state run by a sociopath Dem governor and her plan to make the state pay for NYC’s socialist dreams will end up bankrupting both.
With 21% of New York City residents on SNAP, which is an increase of almost 96% since 2015, we see a huge change in the demographics of city residents. Mamdani’s campaign promises of free bus fares, free child care, low cost grocery stores, rent freezes, and a $30 minimum wage by 2030 were appealing to the voters which may or may not be legal citizens. Kathy Hochul is a supporter of Mamdani’s tax the wealthy to pay for free stuff plan in this sanctuary city/state. Mamdani has hired 40,000 new city workers and they are unionizing to boot. Together they are tying up loose ends to ensure New York stays a socialist democrat mecca.
The matching-funds system is terribly political because every gatekeeper decision becomes a weapon. Look at what the NYC Campaign Finance Board did to Eric Adams when he went independent. Once a board can decide who gets public money, when they get it, and under what narrative cloud, the system is no longer neutral. It is procedural power dressed as reform. The Democrats built a machine to reward “participation,” punish outsiders, and launder public money into approved politics. Joke’s on them. The DSA out-organized the clubhouse, mastered the rules, and made taxpayers finance the socialist conquest of the party.
The Democrats are a party without a country, and the DSA has overtaken the party with what they see as relevance. It seems the Democrats are the last to realize it.
Do you know what wages were in 1935 ? They were $20 a week. I don't know how old you but if you have a family member or someone who knows someone how lived before Social Security and Medicare ask them if Social Security and Medicare made a better life for them. Better yet talk to someone who can't afford to retire because their unable to work because of an illness or the age ? Your talking out of your you know what. You don't know what tomorrow will being you and you may need SS and Medicare.
Before Social Security you had to work until you died and before Medicare you died at home because you couldn't afford medical care. Don't let the Republicans BS you because if it was up to they'd go back to the good old days. Think about that.
No, before SS, people saved for their retirement and saved for their purchases rather than living on credit. Rather than paying into health insurance, my dad put the money into savings for medical emergencies. That was back when medical care was delivered by private physicians and was affordable. Republicans just want to get the grift out of D.C.

What should be investigated given ActBlue’s fraud investigation is how many of the individual small donations were funded by dark or foreign money.
