ALL establishment media is nothing but propaganda, including the controlled fake opposition

Articles like this make me so grateful to Elon!

“Sipher”? What a handle. 😉

The Constitution vs The Institutions. That is the Frame, that is the actual struggle overall.

Trump’s battles are the Constitution versus the Institutions of the Executive Branch used to being Independent of Elected Officials.

"What, then, should readers demand?" I say that if they have a subscription to the NYT, demand that their subscription be cancelled immediately.

Great job clearing away the obfuscation of woefully incomplete vetting of an opinion writer. Thank you.

Another ex cia turd floating around and spewing bullshit. The frustrating thing is that they believe they are relevant, and are having no problem finding organizations to sell their bullshit to. I think CIA operatives should have to sign much stricter gag orders than they currently are. It should include everything they ever read, witnessed, or did while working at that festering turd called the CIA. Oh, and I also think they should never be eligible to hold public office of any kind..😉

More Orwellian muse-ings. You're the op-ed machine, Alex. You're regime messaging. And only about 25% of the country still buys this manufactured outrage as distraction.

While you're harping about "what the New York Times doesn't tell you," and listing Sipher's "non think-tank" partisan efforts (for shame!), you conveniently ignore that he's been a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council for years.

"Begin with a concept. Call it credential laundering." - At least Sipher and those you rail against have credentials. Hyper-partisan, cedential-free muse casting these aspersions is rich.

"The analogy to money laundering" is how your funding sources are best characterized. That 501c3 funding you is registered at a small suburban house in Fort Worth - taking in less than $50K yearly per IRS filings.

"A reader might reasonably wonder whether the Times would publish a piece attacking a Democratic appointee by a senior adviser to a pro-Trump super PAC while identifying the author only as a retired civil servant."

They certainly did.

Always hypocritical, and misleading at best, amusingly dishonest.

“At least Sipher and those you rail against have credentials.”

His article destroys the value of those credentials, while here YOU are puffing them up again. Why don’t you address the content of what he said instead of trashing his background?

Mary Makary's avatar

He doesn't, at all. The content of what Sipher wrote is that in no sane universe would Pulte ever be considered appropriate for that position. Muse knows it, you know it, every cultist melting down because their God-Emperor date be questioned knows it. Why don't you address that?

Everleigh Rose's avatar

Pulte is a perfect choice! Builders know how to build and get things completed!

God doesn’t choose perfect men(remember King David?) only men perfect for the job!

Sipher can fuck off. Full exposure is on the way, with military tribunals. It's going to be great.

They're writing the same sorts of true things. Amuse himself works for the rightwing outrage machine - John Milton Freedom "writing fellowship" for X influencers - 10K/month.

the long warred's avatar

Yes but Amuse declares that on his profile, indeed in every footer in detail. He’s not passing himself off as a concerned retired public servant. The struggle comes to this; Shall we have Constitutional government or Institutional government?

Everleigh Rose's avatar

Why isn’t this surprising? Slop slop more slop!

"Credential laundering" : great term.

Some other short-hand laundering jobs are "the widely respected" and "award-winning."

In general, when you say something appeared in the NYT, you've done reverse credential laundering for me! Call it "credential-fouling."

Supplementer's avatar

Great term? Maybe, but not applicable here. 'Credential laundering' is the practice of ...

Look it up, own-researcher.

Albert Cory's avatar

What? What are you trying to say?

He did say "Begin with a concept. Call it credential laundering. The analogy to money laundering is exact and worth spelling out. "

Supplementer's avatar

That term already has a recognized meaning.

And "the analogy to money laundering" could only work for people on acid, or just dumb as dirt.

Albert Cory's avatar

what an asshole you are. Buh-bye.

John Brennan himself said the intelligence and government agencies themselves are still staffed with many loyalists to “the cause”,

the “cause” being the overthrow of the elected government. How much moreso those outside of it who’ve gone on to make careers out of defrauding the public with their veneer of authenticity.

It really is explosive how so, so, so much is being revealed on a more than daily basis in just the last 10 years how subversive, corrupt and traitorous our very foundational government and institutions actually have become. And 99% of it can be traced directly back to the Democrat party.

They are worse than a criminal enterprise. They are a threat to our very national security.

the long warred's avatar

Shall we have Constitutional Government or Institutional Government ? That is the question. The Intelligence Community represent Institutional government, the President Constitutional government. The last President to touch this was Richard Nixon, the other was JFK. We know what happened to them, just as we know what happened to Trump in his first term.

How will we rid ourselves of these propagandists and the stupid people manipulated by them? It’s a problem.
