In passing I mentioned that Elon Musk is working on putting data centers in space and she instantly started melting down in a pool of slimy goo like the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz. I knew then I had to move on to another conversation! The anti data center people are not only dumb, they are pathological in their commitment to dumb. My words to her that data centers don’t use water any more than any other industry went right over the top of her head.
