I hate to sound like nay-sayer, but maybe, just maybe, adopting some Chinese and perhaps some Muslim and other conservative religious precepts into any alignmnet of our own might well shade the outcome more conservatively. I don't know enough about any of them, but am fairly certain some of those concepts would at the same time salve liberal angst and buttress conservative morals.
This is a vital discussion that must be undertaken. In university in the 1970s, I was indoctrinated into socialism. I became a true believer. As I progressed, I was told we had to lie to the "masses" because they were not ready for the "truth" of socialism. I pushed back, stating if our "truths" were the truth, it would be plainly apparent. That was the first of many cracks until my construct of reality shattered. It took a few years and a lot of seeking for me to reorganize. For decades now, I have been able to spot socialist/Marxist/communist lies and thinking in an instant. For example, 30 seconds of listening to Obama when he first appeared on the national radar and I knew he was lying, scheming Marxist. Nothing he's ever said or done disproved my initial reaction.
The truth is, the Left have no "morals." Their moralities are superficial and centered upon control and power. There are no spiritual bases for their beliefs or actions. Only the most radical Marxists will be training these AI models because only the most radical have the highest "morality" in their world. Their morality includes no universal truths that have been proven through centuries of civilization and by spiritual disciplines. These AI programs will prove they will become useless and broken. Just like Marx's and his theories the moment he put pen to paper. Only Muhammad's vicious political and social system has caused more deaths and suffering in the world than Marx.
Complete Neutrality. AI is a tool and is only as good as who makes it and sets it up. The Woke Left has destroyed everything they touch. They are not to have a part in this. I trust not a one of them. Not a one. We have a deep problem in this Country. I applauded First Lady Trump's program to teach children the responsibility of using AI. Where's the program for Adults now?????

If a handful of Bay Area engineers, DEI theorists, and state regulators get to encode morality into the systems everyone uses, then America loses from the inside. That is not safety. That is ideological capture. Conservatives cannot sleepwalk through this while cheering chip production. Demand neutrality. Demand disclosure. Demand federal preemption of woke state AI rules. Demand models that serve citizens, not progressive priesthoods. Otherwise, we beat China on hardware and still wake up inside a machine trained to despise us.
