I guess anyone can sell groceries cheaply if he receives them at a steep taxpayer-funded discount. But that's not really selling, it's donating. Still, if the idea is that a socialist government can give groceries away as long as it taxes everybody enough to pay for it, it's true enough. It will be interesting to see whether the stores are mobbed by people expecting taxpayer-funded discounts, or are people supposed to be need-qualified in order to buy there? Looks like it would be simpler to use the taxes to supplement their incomes so they can go buy full-price groceries wherever they like; i.e., food stamps.
